SSDI

In order to qualify for SSDI, an individual must have worked in jobs covered by Social Security and have medical conditions that result in total disability.

 The individual must be unable to perform the same work that he/she did prior to the disability.

 The individual is unable to perform other jobs because of a medical condition

 The disability must have lasted, or is expected to last for at least one year or result in death.
